Senior Move Managers

Senior Move Managers was founded in 2016 by Bradley Fraser and Paul Lawrence. They had observed numerous families who had found themselves in situations where they either had no support when moving home, or simply the process of organising and executing a move became too overwhelming.

Brad’s background is in science and public health working with the New Zealand Defence Force. Paul’s background is in exercise prescription and management working closely with the aged care sector before transitioning into residential real estate sales with a focus on working with Seniors.

Senior Move Managers have been part of the ChristchurchNZ and NZTE High Growth Launch programme and are now also involved in the Amplify programme with the same organisations that only six companies in New Zealand are selected for each year. We have also been a finalist for the Deloitte Fast50 Rising Stars programme.

The team at Senior Move Managers has grown significantly over the past three years with offices in Christchurch, Auckland, Nelson, Wellington, Hamilton and Tauranga.

Our range of services can be as simple as supplying packing materials right up to a comprehensive moving package including preparing the house for sale, sorting and decluttering, and assisting with the sale and disposal of household items. We organise all the service providers and work closely with retirement villages. We communicate with our clients every step of the way to ensure they are well informed to reduce the stress and anxiety of the move.

Senior Move Managers offers a unique service extending far beyond just managing the relocation. We know how it feels. Moving isn’t just a physical experience, it’s very emotional as well. Senior Move Managers are the shoulder to lean on, the strong back under the couch, the confident voice on the phone…we’re your personal relocation professionals.

Our Values

Walk a mile in your shoes - Empathy.
Empathy is the cornerstone of our business. By putting ourselves in the shoes of the people we are
partnering with, whether they be an individual or an organisation, we can best gauge how to unpack
anything from a box of belongings to a complex logistical scenario. We feel with you during this difficult process.

Keeping you in the know - Transparency.
Open communication at all times means our clients can feel confident they are in the best hands. Total
transparency keeps everyone on the same page, and moving in the same direction.

We do what we say - Integrity.

We take our role very seriously. If we say we will do something, we do it. It’s vital you are able to rely
on us, and know that what needs doing is going to get done.

You have our complete Respect.
Even in the toughest of situations, we treat each other with the upmost dignity, and strive to behave in
the most decent manner. Selling a home, moving belongings, dealing with a monumental life event; these
are the times when we must present our A game.
